How? I am suggesting since this is not working and will require a check in the code I imagine (with all the respect), I am thinking to change how the system of Conflict works in relation to only, only the elections.
To give more colors to the game it would be cool the game could transform the tick into percentage, yes, more granular and also enjoyable experience, however I understand since there are many factors that do work to push the election results, it could be maybe hard but those things could simply work on the indeed percentage, all of them, simplifying what the transportation, trading, financial support etc do create on the effect.
So the idea would be at the end of the tick or maybe in different ways, seeing a writing in game "Exit Polls"... and percentage or constant, or simply with the tick we know so functioning same of course (1 every 24h yeah that's how it works) but not anymore 1-0 2-0 etc etc... 2-1- 1-4 ... but with percentage.
Of course I don't think the "non voters" could be featured so it has always to be a 0 to 100% division in two. Like it was a political bipolar system... however the conflict is between 2 so I am not gonna argue this...
yeah one day maybe it would be cool to have a conflict between 3-4 ... in case the elections find a conflict with 2+ groups all in a % of + or minus 2% difference not more. (so still quite rare .. or more flexible interval otherwise like +\-5% .-.-.=))
Anyway back to the suggestion you would have percentage at the end "of the day" every time... and this would make the conflict much much more fun instead of a 1-0 which instead is more adapting to a warfare so battles of the war type of conflict.
I believe this kind of granularity and diversity of the data has been already taken into consideration. And put aside being an unnecessary detail but since embellishment does count... and Inara I don't think would have hard time to update on this as well as others, to welcome this code to render into their digital apps and third party tools, I think this would be worth.
SO at the end you find Frontier Devs 100% Cmdr Marcus Bronco 0% ... or 56% to 34 %..
It would be silently story telling as first you have before IT IS CONCLUDED a "EXIT POLL" titling of such %s, but then when the conclusion is reached you will see "Election result" as a title, again of course with %... The naming given to the percentage does allow to not only a more adherent to the thing we are talking about "Election" not a soccer game or tennis or warfare battles, but votes and support propaganda etc absent voters etc, but also allow to call such percentage in two different ways which is engaging and significative for who reads, and keeps the trend of curating immersive design which this cinematic game has, up without abandoning it.
This is a "Programmers\coders update" suggestion, change it's not something that I believe would require immense work and expenses like "interior design" or " under water bases" or "weather events in atmospheric and non atmospheric planets and bodies (from fog to quakes to thunders to lava to dust devils, wind rain etc)
Thanls
