Elections "coup d'etat" over 60% inf and conflict status going bad

Hi,

We are on Elections against an NPC faction in Njirus system, apparently no external interference,

after doing a lot of mission related to elections yesterday, today we have the conflict status going worse and worse.

Are we missing something? "complete relevant missions to win the election" is what we're doing, at least 40-50 missions yesterday divided on 4-5 people, looks like the game is not accounting those for the conflict.

It is now open/only for conflict winning? We operated both in open and solo

I am running out of justifications to support the new bgs working as expected, or with a few bugs.
It seems to me that it has been fundamentaly broken. The links between factions and actions, and factions and states seems to be seriously lacking in many cases.

At least you have missions. This has been the state for the last hour, for no discernable reason :( About to bugreport

There is no sense actually, the Falcon Nest should win the election but is in complete defeat for apparently no reason:

Well, so much for no mode switching. I am sorry, but just open a ticket and don't hesitate. If you do not open a ticket, the issue does not exist from Frontiers perspective (no offense meant, just my experience regarding urgency and tickets for all kinds of companies and situations. No ticket, no problem.)

Open a ticket. Either someone works against You, then all is working as designed. Or the work done by you gets attributed to the wrong faction. Happened before, like in 2.1. Or so. But you won't find out by yourself.

I did report it. No responses given its the weekend but it did clear up... notwithstanding this issue...

Like said in it, you might be able to bypass it by using carto or bounties. But not tested so far for me.

... for the lols I'm going to support the other side. See what happens....

has anyone tried pushing the opposition for one tick - mad I know but perhaps the wires are crossed

Not for now - it does not seem logic that the missions are accounted for the other side. It seems more likely that they are not accounted at all. We will try now shooting down them.

i personally think that some mission type are not being count properly, like courier or deliveries. Could be others also.

Greetings everyone!

I can totally confirm the issues you are facing. Me and my squadron are having the exact same problems since Q4 dropped.

Our faction is in an election for several days now against a NPC faction. After the first tick we were behind("close defeat"), although running a decent amount of especially election-related missions.
So our reaction to this: running even more missions trying to change the situation. As a result, after the next tick we were rewarded with an even worse standing ("defeat").
So yesterday we really wanted to go for it and ran missions like mad. I am talking about more than 150 influence transactions here. Result: "total defeat" for the faction we were supporting this way.

We are almost 100% sure that nobody else is opposing us by supporting our enemy.

We really assume now, that the BGS is in some parts seriously broken.

Quote by Jane Turner: "has anyone tried pushing the opposition for one tick - mad I know but perhaps the wires are crossed"

That is what we are trying at the moment and we came to the same idea, that it seems like everything is going to turn out exactly opposite as it should(crossed wires), because we were observing the same issues in another system we were working in.

We were also fighting heavily in a CZ and as a result the faction we supported was going down the drain.....same story here too.

Thoughts?

Exactly the same for us, pal,
the "conflict bar" behaved exactly the same way.
Let us know how it goes, we are instead following the Democratic way of thinking, and shooting down Njirus Liberal civilian ships at sight. That's the way the elections were meant to be in the good ol'times.

Something similar here with me. I worked a CZ until the defeat of one faction but there was no change in influences afterwards. I guess that FD has royally messed up the BGS with the new patch. Re-patching needed.

Influence is now locked when the faction are in conflict.

The problem is that the "conflict status" bar is also unaffected by our actions!
