Hardware & Technical Electronics component help

Here is a picture of the existing components back: link http://m.imgur.com/gallery/pFE6jRA

It is a 50k 1 turn potentiometer with center detent, 6mm diameter knurled shaft, 9mm length and a spst push button momentary switch. I haven't had any luck trying to determine the manufacturer of the component or a replacement that ticks all of the above boxes. If anyone is able to help, it would be greatly appreciated!

I can't find any example of the logo, but that, in itself is not significant.

As for a replacement. Can you give more informations please?

What is the equipment that this part is in.
What is the size of the component? L, D, H.
How long is the shaft and how thick?
How important is the appearance? That is, can you survive with something cobbled to an extent?

i'll have to find the dimension later.

Its from a Saitek X55 that belongs to a mate of mine, i took it apart so i can source the components and build my own flight system.

shaft thickness is 6mm diameter 9 mm length shaft

appearance is not important not is size really as i am not replacing i just want to match funtionality so i can build my own gear i like the ability to control axis and have a button.

Those photos are excellent. They show that there is a ton of space to put in a different pot.

If this one is no longer available I found it by entering the search term switched 50k potentiometer in Google. Don't bother with Maplin, they used to be good, about 25+ years ago but are utterly useless now for that sort of thing

Thanks i did find those as well, however they dont say if they have centre detent and or momentary push switch...

as most switch on potentionmeters is based on the initial turning on or off point at full or start of turn... what i need is a centre detent this give me a middle resting point of an axis, and the push switch which can be used as a button.

That is a specialised component and can only be had from the manufacturer.

personally, I'd be making do with what I can get, but of you must have that indent then you will have to approach the manufacturer. I predict that the cost of that component will be about equal to 90% of the cost of a new Joystick. But I may be wrong.

Incidentally, my joystick is a somewhat cheaper model. But I had a problem with one of the pots which became noisy leading to a juddering response. I cured that with a short skoosh of WD40.
