Elimination of the requirement to cover restaurants and shops.

One thing that puzzled me is the fact that to get a good rating it was necessary to put shops, hotels and restaurants all over the place. it is understandable for bathrooms, emergency shelters and weather stations, but a little annoying in the case of buildings not necessary for survival. At both Jurassic World and Jurassic Park there was a single corner dedicated to these things, the rest of the park were roads, fences and the various tour stations. I would like this requirement to be removed in Jurassic World Evolution 2, in favor of a simply numerical one (the more people there are, the more they need the services, which can also be concentrated in a single point).

The basic idea is that you'll build your park like a zoo with everyone walking around on foot, and then you have to conveniently place ammeneties for your guests. The original park is a kind of safari preserve that you can also make work in JWE1. In the original park, a vehicle ride takes guests on rails through the dino exhibits on a several hour tour; within the game, the begining and end of this tour is also among the collection of guest buildings tucked away in a corner.

Maybe replace it with eqivalents of food carts. It does make sense to have snacks and such spread around so people can get something small to keep them going while enjoying the park. But yeah it's a bit strange that they will want to go have a full meal in a resturant, walk next door for some bowling and cross the street for a ride through a predator enclosure...was the bowling not exciting enough?! Did you not see enough steak being eaten? :p

Even a lot of those tend to have stop off areas with amenities. One example is The Wilds in Ohio, they have stop areas with restrooms, food, and some gifts available for purchase along with things that aren't as easy to drive through. When you're done there, you get back on and go for another distance. It makes the safari rides more accessible for those who might have issues with longer trips and puts people in places where they're more likely to buy stuff.

Food carts could be a very interesting thing, especially if you could have them move on their own and wander to areas of higher need

Aramus hit the nail on the head here. This was the intention in the original game :)
Yes, but for the start of the game, when the tours are not available what can you do? I was in a lot of trouble on isla Matanceros and Muerta. Maybe you could opt to modify the paths with benches, chairs and bar trolleys? I don't know, it's just an idea. However I think it is in the end just a whim, do as you like. I'm sure a beautiful game will come out.

We only ever really got a good look at Main Street. How do you know that other enclosures and attractions didnt have any shops and restaurants near the entrance?

The map of Nublar is shown on the internet and in various official manuals, and if the main street buildings are clearly visible it makes no sense that there are others invisible.
