Elite / Frontier Elite 2 & First Encounters trade run

Which trade routes on the older games did you start off with to make money?

I used to do the safe route of Fruit & Veg from Sol to Barnards Star and take computers and robots back. Once I had the cash for a better ship I'd venture out to Wolf 359 and bring back illegal goods to Sol. Always remember Wolf 359 being where Starfleet engaged the borg (NERD ALERT).

I enjoyed bribing the police on one of the stations in Sol and using Bradleys Trade Emporium for illegal goods. Eventually got an Asp Explorer and went off to assassinate people :-D didn't travel much into Imperial Space but every now and then took a journey or two up to Eta Cassiopeia for fed missions.

In the original game I would start trading at safe systems until I could afford upgrades, and would eventually move to running narcos out of the anarchy systems. With FE2 I rarely stayed in one place very long. I was constantly moving to new systems. So, I'm guessing I'll end up playing ED the same way, buying special commodities that will grow in value the farther way I get from the world I purchased it at.

Sol to Barnard star fruit n veg, robots back to sol
The amazing thing is I'm still playing frontier and ffe I've also still got my original saved game from the day way bk and still play it. Wish I could measure the hours and days I've maxed up to day.

So beta testing and playing this awesome game now is just a dream. Roll on when it's released to you lot your in for a massive amount of joy.

Eta Cassiopiea <-> AC 79 3888

Take liquor from Eta to AC 79and Robots and Computers back again. There are usually lots of courier and federal courier missions between the two. You might get jumped by pirates in AC 79, but it's not that dangerous.
