Elite / Frontier Elite 25th Anniversary

Frontier, excellent work on the 25th Anniversary website !

Elite is something special and we all know why. There were many posters on here including myself that wondered what would happen on this anniversary. Some were expecting news on Elite IV but I understand the necessary wait until things are at the right point for posting information.

Like the new logo btw, I hope that it is used in Elite IV. I've always liked the logo, it has a distinctive and attractive quality to it. I can see "IV" in big bold golden characters behind that logo .

Really appreciate the effort Frontier, thanks .

There's a link to it on the front page, that's pretty good going. http://uk.ign.com/ just shows how important Elite is to every one. Funny when you think about it.

Not only that but we get to see DB playing Elite Not very well mind you, but even so,,,,

And......

"David Braben, who co-developed Elite, confirmed that his company, Frontier Developments, were working on a sequel to the game. "We'd be mad not to go back to the world of Elite and I'm very excited about it," he told BBC News.
However, he would not be drawn on a possible release date saying it would happen "when its ready"."


So it looks as if we finally have confirmation that E4 will happen one day.
