The Elite:International forum has 9 threads and 879 posts,

If you count the number of threads and posts in General and PBF that are about Alpha, you get, well, enough material to start the Elite:Alpha forum. Multiply this by a billion (conservative estimate) once the alpha actually drops.

Then, it would turn into the Elite:Beta forum once the beta arrives.

I personally read every post about the damn alpha, no speculation too small, no rant too loud to be dismissed...I want a one stop shop where I can get my alpha fix.

You think this is bad, IMAGINE THE BETA-FEEDING-FRENZY

Can I get a hell yeah for the Elite:Alpha (and eventually Elite:Beta) forum!

Slight problem, not everyone currently posting in those Alpha threads has access to the alpha test and i have a feeling FD will be setting up an alpha forum just for those that have access to the alpha.

if they set up an alpha forum for everyone it might get a little confusing come testing time.

Non-alpha members can read but not post? Once it hits beta, alpha and beta people can post. Specific forum for testers to post and everyone else to read.

Seems reasonable. FD doesn't want to decipher threads to get feedback.

My guess is it's already going to happen.

There's an ingame option from what I am being told for reporting bugs/issues.

There will be a few ways to report bugs in the Alpha. :D

It's going to be fun to say the least. :cool:

Elite alpha feature request

This is not a bug, more a "feature request". The delay on the text description for a mission seems to last for ages. This is especially annoying when you have been killed and want another go. Would it be possible to add a "skip" or a "next" button to this page. If it is waiting to load something then perhaps a countdown/progress bar so that users don't think "it's crashed" and do something silly!
