Elite and multiplayer

Hi all

I'm fairly new to elite having only recently purchased my first Cobra! So far I really like the game although I have found some serious limitations especially with multiplay. I regularly play in a private group with friends. Here are some of the bugs we have faced:

• Sometimes we cannot see each other (we must be in different instances) and to fix it we have to relog several times.
• Most of the time we cannot text chat in game because of some unable to connect error

There are serious limitations (and some could easily be overcome)in game that make it difficult to play with others.

• Ability to target any group member at any time so you don't lose each other
• Cannot transfer cargo of credits
• No joint missions

It just seems that elite dangerous is really not geared up for multiplay much at all at the moment which is a real shame. Does anybody know if any of these bugs and issues are scheduled to be addressed in the future?

The broken chat is a pain, and needs a fix.

David has always said that the multiplayer mode is the pillar of the game. The main center of gravity. With the "wings" and future improvements during the year 2015, ED should have the stature of a multiplayer game, for sure
