Drew Wagar, the author of the two novels is also an active player and on this forum.
He recently hosted streams revisiting the lore of Elite, which you can find on Youtube.

Apart from those books there are also a few short stories and fanfiction.
Finally, if you are interested in pen and paper RPGs, there's also EDRPG, which is licensed and official.

I only know of two Elite books he wrote ... what was the third?

I've only bought the ones that have the audible version, I listened to them while mining or exploring. I enjoyed them because they give you more knowledge about the Elite Dangerous lore. I would also suggest listening to the "Lore Tour" videos on YouTube made by Drew Wagar.

I've read Reclamation and Premonition by Drew. They are both good, not excellent, but I still enjoyed them (especially in case Drew reads this, and sets the Code on my butt!).

For me they fleshed out the universe more which I have enjoyed being more aware of. It's be nice to have galnet back though for this reason, but sadly it has taken a brief hiatus on life...!

To the op, there are quite a few "official" Elite books. I wrote two of them, but there's a list below. You have a choice of ebook and paperback for most, with some in audible format. :) Easiest to get them from Amazon nowadays. The reviews should give you a flavour of what they're like. Mine are 'serious' in the sense they are political space opera thrillers, others are comedies or a mix of more light-hearted fare.

There isn't a particular order to the books overall, but the two I wrote should be read in the order Reclamation and then Premonition.
