Hi,

my name is Marco and im a big fan from Elite since i played the first Elite on an C64 :eek:

I was really ecited as i heard they will come an new Elite game.

As tribute to the game i planned to build an warercooled Elite casemod.

What i want to do!

The outside is for the new Elite Dangerous game and the complete inside will be an tribute to the original Elite game from the 80´s.

First i need an new top panel with Elite logo as fan grills.

The other thing is to remove the original bottom side panel on both sides and create one with Elite Logo.

Next step for me is the paint job for the in and outside.

This one come on the right side and the cobra will be a litle bit greter.
The rest of the case will fit to the picture.



The inside will be painted like the old c64 version of the game.
Black with small white dots and some ship models. Like the Cobra :D

can I suggest a different image host as after using the one you have linked to all im getting is bloody adverts.

Imgur.com and photobucket.com don't show adverts when you click on the picture and they are free.

Update 05.09.2014

First some bad news.
I have to by an new washing machine because my old one is broken and i must spend my project money into an new one.
So i must wait before i can buy the watercooling parts :-(

Here some new pictures from my last work and i hope you enjoy it :)

Here some pictures from the finished airbrush on the case front





Then i installed the midplate,motherboardtray cover and the backplate.
All plates are airbrushed with white uv colour



Here is the midplate with the ship models. These are also painted with uv colour.


I changed the silver front and back from the Aquaero.
I think it looks much better then the silver one :p





Then i sleeved the the cables with black/white sleeve













The last one is the holder for the pump and reservoir.
That will be installed on the hdd cage
