Elite Community 'Movember' 2013 Campaign

Greetings Elite Community Members!

The month of November (here by referred to as 'Movember') is quickly approaching.

During the Month of 'Movember' it is traditional for brave men to put down their razors and stand up proud, growing the best and most elaborate 'Mo' (ustache) that is within their power .

This year, the Commanders of the Elite Community will stand together as we eagerly await the completion of the greatest computer game of all time, Elite Dangerous.

'Movember' exists to raise awareness of issues surrounding Men’s heath and specifically that of Prostate and Testicular Cancer.

These are very real risks to the Commander Jameson generation and we the Elite Community are determined to raise as much support and cash as we can whilst having a lot of fun along the way.

As you can see Mobius has done some great artwork to kick off the campaign.

He has kindly offered to open up his services to requests if you have a good idea.


Frontier has sent out an internal communication requesting for Devs to take part.
( I belive Michael Brookes fainted when he read it. He gets a by on this one, but I am sure he will still be putting in some credits!)

Frontier have confirmed they will also support the campaign through their media channels.

The Lave Radio crew are getting involved and will promote it on their channels and on the shows.

This is another great way for us to demonstrate what a great community we have here at Elite and have a bucket load of fun along the way.

Register for the Mobra MK3 and start planning what style of Mo you are going to grow.

But you can grow something outrageous and blame it on charity.

It has to be a Tash and not a beard. Nothing to join up creating a goatee!
