Elite Controller Mapping

The new Elite Controller has the new paddles on the bottom of the controller. Is there a way to map those to new functions? I think right now in ED they duplicate other buttons.

You cannot map the paddles to new functions. They cannot, for instance, act as B+LB.

You can, however, remap them to existing buttons on the controller, so the left lower paddle = Y Button.

Correct, all EXISTING button controls can be re-mapped to the paddles (or any other button/click/trigger you wish) but macros are not in effect...Yet. Coincidentally, if you wish to remap your existing STOCK XB1 controller, this is also possible as part of the new xb1 experience, there is a new app and to access it, from the home screen squeeze the RIGHT trigger, it drops you down to my games and apps, open that and under the apps, look for a blue app that looks like a joystick nub, use that app to remap your existing controller buttons to your preference.

Thank you everyone for the answers. I remapped the paddles to some things on the dpad to make it so I could do them at the same time as using my thumb on the left stick. Thanks!
