Elite Dangerous [64-BIT] installs 32Bit Files

I'm running Windows 10 64bit, but when I click the install button against the "Elite Dangerous [64-BIT]" option in the launcher - the game actually installs 32-bit files into the "elite-dangerous-64" folder.



There is also a "Elite Dangerous [32-BIT]" option which installs duplicate 32-bit files into the "FORC-FDEV-D-1010" folder.

Why no 64bit version for me?

Is this bugged?

I have the exact opposite issue.
the 32bit directory (FORC-FDEV-D-1010) has the 64bit files in addition to the 64bit directory (elite-dangerous-64)
I opened a ticket on this...
