Elite Dangerous a cure for my PC?

This might be a first, let me explain.

I use chrome for browsing, mainly this forum and youtube, and my computer has developed an odd fault, the picture will go blank and the sound stutters to a halt, and it does this frequently, maybe browse up to an hour before it happens, I have to force turn the PC off and reboot, nothing else works, here's the first for me, if Elite is running in the background while I browse chrome, the PC never suffers this fault, in several hours not once does the PC crash.

Lol such a strange fault.

Maybe your PC is idling on too low a voltage/clock, causing instability....?
With ED running, it's keeping it from idling, keeping the voltage normal, etc.

Or you have a really odd hardware issue. Lol

Twist: FD patched in the fault to condition people to play more Elite.

If you want to test my theory on a voltage drop during idle, run a benchmark program while browsing, and see if it crashes.

Good call, I've completely shut down Elite, now running MSI Kombustor furry torus, see how that goes.
