News Elite:Dangerous Ambassadors Needed for US Newegg event

I have one more question I am sure folks would love to see an answer to.

And I will use myself as an example.

I am a Premium Beta Backer, so Let's assume I qualify on this aspect, however, I am NOT a US Backer, but a Canadian Backer. However, I live within throwing Distance of the US Border (Vancouver, Canada) so I can easily get there, and the closest major US Airport is in Bellingham Washington, about a 45 minute drive away.

If someone such as myself (from Canada) were able to get to said airport on our own, would they be eligible, or is the term US Backer synonymous with US Resident?

I hope the US will be a big market.. I have yet to see more than 10 ? people in my entire beta 2 experience on US based servers.. Its literally a single player game for us. It's as if the dozen or so responses to this thread are the dozen or so people that play this game in the US. I really hope it expands.. Otherwise, I will have to petition to allow us to play on the Euro servers.
