Hi Everyone

Another crowd sourced funding drive to get another official Elite novel into play:

Elite : Dangerous "...And here the Wheel"

I would love to see a whole set of novels released with the games so the fans can read the books then visit the places and see the people in the game itself. It'll be fantastic.

I'd appreciate you all stopping by if you can, have a look around, see if it interests you.

Yes, it would be very nice. But ideally they would tie into the same continuity and potentially hint at events within each other. Though space is huge, and this can potentially be avoided, it would be nice to feel that the various novels released maintain the same feel and don't contradict each other in reference to technologies or societies.

As long as the various authors are in contact with each other I am sure this can be achieved.

What's interesting to me is that only Drew's project has the sum of exactly 4500 that is needed for the Writer's Pack category. What do others plan, I wonder.

The other authors factor in the Kickstarter fees and their own contributions to a various degree. Drew has explained exactly how the sums work out on his page, that will give you some information. So has Vasileios to a certain degree. Drew plans to cover his Kickstarter fees out of his own pocket as his money contribution to the game.

@Corbeau: Going through indiegogo (I'm from NZ, not the UK or USA) means i have their fees and paypal fees, which i'm covering myself. The $7400 USD I have asked for should translate (roughly, I did round it) to 4500 pounds if I've done it right.

Also my nick on the EBBS was Jack Hamilton

Just a note to say i've updated my 'writers pack' crowd funding page:

I've got a new pledge tier for those who just want the ebook and none of the other guff. $12 USD which is probably around 9 pounds or so. pretty good deal for an official elite novel.

We've almost to 1000 USD and we need $7400 USD total, plus indiegogo and paypal fees (which i'll cover myself) and then we'll be able to give E: D another big pledge.
