With PAX South around the corner, and RSI announcing it's definite appearance I became curious to know if Frontier will make an appearance and perhaps reveal some tasty progress?? I have really enjoyed this game! The gameplay feels great and the player to environment interaction is pretty nice, but it needs many improvements! After trading my way into a 3mil T3 and a 1.5mil Bounty hunter viper it has become boring. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy trading and combat but after a while it all seems so futile. There is no true interaction with the world aside from the stats in my menus and the ships around me... The story is engraved in the newspaper, and the gameplay grows to feel repetitive. I am eagerly waiting to see the progress that has been made towards a more realistic, interactive, and fun universe!
This game has the potential to be one of those rare gems in gaming history, and I'm sure that is what the developers are working towards. However, in it's current state it feels incomplete.
