Elite: Dangerous Boxed Edition Full Version Gone

What happened to the option to purchase the boxed edition for the full game? I haven't preordered it, but I really wanted the boxed version when I get it. Was it just a limited time offer and I waited too long? It said it would be out on like December 14th or 13th... :(

I wish it had a full, printed manual. I love those things. Then again, I understand that things might change considerably as they add new features or modify existing ones. A PDF manual that they can update makes more sense I guess.

I think it was $70. Merc Edition is $55 and upgrade is $15 so it's still $70, but it's really irritating that they make you buy both.
