Elite Dangerous Content

Problem is the game is stretched too thin. I know everyone is sick of comparing it to EVE, so instead i'll compare it to Freelancer, since its a bit more like it.

The Freelancer (and EVE :p) universe is smaller, there are more players (per square light year). That on its own breeds activity.
Take a hypothetical scenario where FDev decided it would be a good idea to create a 5 mile* square plot of space, and allow any player to instantly warp to it.

Although a lot of people who generally enjoy the game would spend a lot of time outside of this miniature dimension, I guarantee that at least 50% of players would spend at least 50% of their time inside it.
Why? because to most people: Fun = Killing Time = (Killing internet spaceships + hanging with other people) = EVE = Freelancer.

The universe is too big, too thin and there is nothing to do :p

Every one keeps saying Elite Dangerous does not have any real content hear is just a snippet of what had been originally planed and then dropped.

Please discuss and or add any other videos that were originally planed that would have added some real content and a real challenge to those trying to take part and form I wing to help the cruiser or attack it.

Holy damn the hyperspace drop in the beginning of that video is awesome! Almost my pants!
