"Elite: Dangerous - Crime and Punishment" video by Neon Raven

The game is so pretty, I think my mirror will have to go, so contrast issues don't cause a system shock. :D

Thanks for the link! :)

Really nice, incredible atmosphere. How did he get the external views?

Some cinematic training would be good for the author, though. For example, it would be better if the opening and closing shots of leaving/entering the stations would continue in the same direction (leaving the station to the right of frame in the beginning, entering from the left) for visual continuity.

And how does the Cobra pilot turn his ship like this? There are thrusters on top/bottom of the ship to aid in maneuvers like that? Are these the lateral thrusters I've heard mentioned?

Excellent video! Thanks for the link.
Sure hope I can turn that fast in an anaconda someday. :D

I think it was a combination of thrusters and flight assist off.

Raven uses a Sidewinder ... with his view set to look out the top (where there are no bars to be seen)... after that he is a wizard in his piloting abilities, allowing him to capture all the scenery and action from a disembodied perspective.

Sorry if posted previously, browsed but could not find any mention.
To quote myself, just noticed that it was previously posted on Fan Creations forum. Just did not catch my eye first time.

Second thing - i love ED ship design, and that video is great tribute to that. Even primitive Sidewinder is just simple and elegant. :)
