Elite Dangerous@Epic FREE for Amazon Prime Members on November 27th.

How do you get hold of it?
Having Amazon Prime. (Unless you were asking how the information was gained, in which I have no idea, exploring the gaming section)

I have a prime trial atm but I’ve not looked at anything beyond next day delivery. A google search just threw up articles talking about it. - remember in ‘98 when Google was actually helpful?
I watch Prime video quite often (I don't watch TV, so makes a change from my movie collection) as well as hammer the free delivery...
Worth sniffing around the games, there are a few classics available for free! (Which should stay in your GoG etc. library once the trial is over) Assuming the trial permits that, naturally.

I already have 3 accounts:
Main Frontier account
Steam account
Epic account

As it is I rarely play my 2nd account and never play the Epic one.

Oh no not another account! Worth doing though just for how the start differs from previously, if you are an old hand and haven’t done tge starter bit for a while. Love the sidewinder and upgrading it from scratch.

My third account CMDR (from Epic) has just travelled 20Kly to fire a repair limpet at my main account CMDR who, despite being much more experienced, landed on a planet as if his shields were on. Too much carto and exo to risk the return trip with a compromised hull.

Additional accounts have their uses.

I have AP and looked at the available games - didn't see Elite. Two concerns:
1. Will signing up inundate me with yet more email spam?
2. Will Elite, if it comes available, allow me to be able to effectively interact with my main in Odyssey?

2. Will Elite, if it comes available, allow me to be able to effectively interact with my main in Odyssey?
It depends if the free game specifies it includes Odyssey. As Odyssey is a DLC still and not included in the base game (like Horizons is), it may not include Odyssey, it all depends on the wording.

If it only has Horizons, and you want to interact ship-to-ship with an account in Odyssey you might be able to, but not on-foot, no.

In my opinion ... I am probably (and usually) wrong.
