Hi, In this thread I'd like us to discuss something, I am seeing little snippets of pop-up here and there, but maybe needs a centralised place, I'll get to why in a moment.
First, to Frontier Developments ...
I know you've said (to me at least) that you'll make your own guides, but fans will make their own guides, hence this thread.
Now, why is this thread needed? As I just mentioned, Fan Made guides will happen. Be it websites, PDFs, videos, apps whatever. And I can forsee a lot of confusion. Just terminology alone, as people will call things different names will add to confusion. So the idea of this thread, if for nothing else, is to try to get everyone talking the same language (not literally as there will be French, German etc), using the same terms etc. That way, someone looking at one site won't be confused looking at another site.
The second purpose of this thread is to try to collect all these fan made guides, help etc into one central resource. So all the info is, for example, in one PDF document. I have no doubt there will be many Youtube channels, and websites, and there is not a lot we can do about that, apart from what I said in the paragrapgh above, but we as a community, are more than capable of producing a fan made guide ebook / PDF document (and I mean one document).
So ... to summarise ...
1. Use this thread to agree on everyone using the same terminology.
2. Let's all work together and collect all our guides, help, hints and tips into one place, so that casual fans don't have to spend all day searching the internet for help.
