In the Steam Exploration Sale -67% until 1st December.

I'm mixed on this really, we want more players but damn it feels cheap.

(ok just clocked the ad up top, coz I normally ignore them, still feels cheap)

Basically it allows anyone to jump in on this now who planned to get Horizons.

Same price for them over all - very small time difference.

Yup, £10 + £30 = horizons. You're basically paying £10 to play 1.4 until 2.0. So about a month.

Lots of people are on the fence about Elite or just havent heard about it. That price allows them to try it without much risk and if they like it they will probably get Horizons. So that is a good thing. Plus its a black friday sale so discounts are kind of expected.

it's finally at a good price point. i just bought two copies for friends.
will do the same with horizons: wait a year for it to get patched and drop to £10 before i buy
