Elite:Dangerous Future Plans

Sorry I am somewhat new to this only having really starting to play Elite at the official launch and not visiting the forums prior to that. So I am not really sure how this has worked previously or supposed to work now so please forgive my ignorance.
Anyhow to the question: Do Frontier ever share their plans on what they will be doing to the game in the near/distant future and if so could someone point me towards where this information is. I realise it did the whole kick starter thing but I consider anything contained in that to be somewhat out of date given that its no longer a kick starter having actually officially launched. So I am looking for something a little more recent and updated taking into account the launch had passed

I was hoping the newsletters would give some indication on what the devs focus would be but these seem to be somewhat fluffy in content which is fine as far as it goes but its not a lot of help for me. I realise the holidays will have put things on hold but most mmo/mmo type games usually give some indication. For instance I also play FFXIV:ARR and the newsletter they sent out on New Years day gives details about immediate and long term goals for the devs teams. As far as I can tell its been silent running from Frontier so I am left wondering if this has always been the case or its just because holidays?

I cannot point you to particular references.

But plans that were definite:

Mac conversion
Wings
Extra ships

Or definite if the game does well enough are:

Planetary landings
Walk around your ships and walk around other things like perhaps space stations.


There is much more as well, if you:

Read the DDF forum archives...
Look at the you tube dev diaries.
Look at previous news letters (although you say you have looked at them, the earlier ones are less spin and more revealing, although out of date perhaps).



Also FD is a company with budgets and influences so they plan, yes but their plans may be subject to a lot of change.
