Elite Dangerous goes Interstellar (for me)

Hi Commanders
I had a little brainwave to spice up my (I'm a dedicated, addicted, hopeless nut with 9000+ hours ED experience) Elite Dangerous.... I often play different ''spacey'' soundtracks from Stellardrone to Eric Matyas to Bladerunner etc.
Then I once again watched my all time favourite BlueRay ''Interstellar'' and thought ''hey what a brilliant soundtrack by Hans Zimmer!!''... so off I went to Amazon and downloaded the entire 16 tracks for £7.99...

Elite Dangerous now IS Interstellar for me as I ply the outer reaches of our Elite Galaxy skimming never before seen ringed giant planets and nebulae....... absolutely stunning!!!!!!

Thanks FDev and Hans Zimmer

People still pay for music?
Hi Leo
Being a professional artist (fine & graphic art) I despair as I see my dwindling royalties not keeping pace with the unauthorised (and unpaid) use of my hard work (unfortunately the very worst offenders are in North America... who just reply (if they bother) with; ''well try suing us....you won't get far in our courts as you are off-shore (UK)''... and unfortunately they are right)...Soooo I always pay for what I use/enjoy/download, remembering it is always someone's hard work that should show them a decent return.... in a fair world, or my world anyway. o7

Yes, great soundtrack. Hans Zimmer is one of the best...Bladerunner 2049 is also a fine soundtrack.

I really like the music in ED, I'd love there to be more of it, I wonder if they will ever commission more music for ED, I know they added some for Horizons...I can dream.

The one that ended up disappearing up its own arx (like so many other Matthew McSomething-or-other films) leaving the slower witted amongst us confused and slightly angry?

Yep, that's the one.

Murph?

Interstellar was a flipppin' awesome film and the soundtrack is just brilliant. Seen a fair few ED videos using its soundtrack but for me this is the first and still the best.

Hi Alec
Brilliant video....hadn't seen that before. It really showcases the ambiance I'm getting as I play ED accompanied by the Interstellar score.... o7

I despare when people derive the wrong meaning from what im saying. Perhaps in future I should be clearer but on this occasion I really cant be arsed going into too much detail on the matter.
I reckon it's worth the effort.

I'll leave this here though and move on....

It's barely better than nothing, streaming services in general pay a pittance to artists. It's even worse if you're listening through a free/ad supported service:

I can be arsed making sure folk who's music I enjoy get something for it, as directly as I can.

That is really well done.

I thought i was alone! the number of people that want me to illegally download films, audiobooks, songs then look at me strangely when i say "I'd rather pay for it knowing the people making it are getting what they deserve and I'm enjoying the best version of it".

Besides content is so cheap these days whether its a subscription or one off rental you're hardly breaking the bank to enjoy media these days!
