Another update on that visual issue, there's a bug forum thread on it here: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=212098

Quick version, try setting Terrain Quality and Terrain Materials to Low in gfx options, then restarting game.

Any news on when the route planner will be fixed? It's becoming ridiculously tedious having to go to the galaxy map on almost every jump to replot the route or select the next waypoint.

For me, fairly slow access to system / galaxy maps at the moment, is something I hope will get some attention.

I have been getting an intermittent issue where the system and planetary maps will not open at all. Galaxy map opens ok but the other two just get stuck on the loading screen. Eventually I give up and have to minimise to close and restart the client. Very frustrating.

edit: its quite interesting to watch actually.. Reminds me of a game of missle command I used to play.

What I'd really like to see is a lesser grind for ranks. You basically have to have no life whatsoever to make any progress worthwhile....

I mean, over 200 missions for ranks like Viscount. Im not saying that it should be something like 50, but 100 is alot more reasonable for the amount of missions required to rank.
