Elite Dangerous, Horizons and Covid.

I have loads to do at home, not just gaming. Covid has not affected me one bit as far as remaininig at home goes.
Also, my job in Security is required regardless of the lockdown, the lockdown doesn't stop people breaking into buildings to steal stuff.

As for ED, I got bored with it a while back and take a quick look from time to time to see if anything worthwhile has been added. I did hope that Fleet Carriers would be worth taking a look at, but the constant extreme maintenance cost makes that a definite no, taking a long break from the game means you lose everything you've worked for. I can go back to other online games like Eve that I last played 10 years ago and still have everything I had before I stopped playing.

10 years ago - oh my, then you will have to relearn EVE - it is so different from what it was 10 years ago. You will still have all your possessions and skills, but to be really back again will take you a while, too much has changed during that decade.

Covid has made my job exponentially busier and to this day there is no let up and so as a consequence my gaming time has dropped to worrying levels......... the worst bit, i find elite the best place to be able to forget it all and relax.
