Can you ask him to go over the Escape Vector please. I am all over the screen trying to find the sweet spot .... am I doing it wrong?.

I always get confused on the dates as here in the states we always put it in mm/dd/yy format. So that would make that January 12, 2015. Not really, but that's the way I read it. Was a bit confused, then it hit me. dd/mm/yy DOH!!!! Really looking forward to this. Especially how we get back in our ships if we deploy while in a hangar in a dirtside starport. Or maybe it allowing that is just a bug. But would like to know how to get back in if we are on docked on the surface in a ground based station.

I had the same problem trying to get back to my ship. In the end just as I was running out of fuel I managed to get myself destroyed. Restart put me back in my hanger, so, I am now wondering if this is indeed a bug?

Strangely, try rotating (roll). I was hunting for the sweet spot but sometimes just rotating 90 degrees whilst facing the escape vector is all it needed.

Thanks and excellent timing, beta install completed this morning and just 1 planet landed on with a bit of SRV roaming plus good performance.
Just 1 adjudication server fail so far but recovered and completed mission.
Brilliant job by Frontier team and will be there at 7pm.

Good stuff. We don't appear to be able to land on any earth like planets only planets I've found to land on are desolate moons etc. Is this correct? Maybe something that is coming later? Perhaps you could cover this on the stream? What a game though! Love it :)

Heh, I kow that much, also it makes different noises for different things, and the scanner itself shows different types of blips depending on what it picks up. I just haven't worked out the details.. thus the request.

Oh, I knew it wasn't 7:00 my time. I was talking about the date, not the time. I saw the 7:00 and I automatically converted that to 2:00 my time.

This is correct. Atmospheric landing will happen in a later season. Probably season 3 (although it might be later than that) as there's quite a bit more to be worked out.
