Elite Dangerous: Horizons loading painstakingly slowly after starting up my computer

So, I have been playing Horizons for the past few days, and have had no issues with the game loading before. Today however, I got on my computer, and when I started the game up, the sequence that happens before getting to the main menu was very slow, and I got stuck on the procedural planet generation. It would not load further after 5 minutes waiting for it. I restarted my computer, checked my drivers to make sure everything is up to date, and restarted my computer again because of an update for windows 11. As I am writing this, the game still has not loaded, and is still stuttering in the loading sequence. What should I do? Should I wait for the game to get to the main menu, or should I uninstall and reinstall. To be clear, my computer is well within being able to run the game, and runs with a solid 60 FPS usually. Has anyone encountered an issue like this before?

Anytime your drivers update or the game updates it has to run through the process of building the gpu table again. Maybe you just need to let it finish. I dunno what you might have screwed up by restarting in the middle of it, probably best to delete it and try again.

Yeah, happens on one of my machines too. It will always get stuck indefinitely at about 54%. I kill the process and it works the second time.

My laptop has that sometimes with EDO, up to a point where the game throws a crash report, but it even continues after that. Almost always it recovers to full working order when I wait long enough. My laptop has integrated intel graphics, so the performance is utter garbage, and prolly the reason why the preparation of the shader cash takes so long.
