News Elite Dangerous: Horizons on Steam

Finally just got my key... so I add it to Steam, and the penny finally drops... I'm going to have TWO installations of Elite Dangerous? That's not, er, not quite what I expected?!

You can just uninstall Elite Dangerous and keep the Elite Dangerous Horizons installed

So ED Horizons includes all the content the "vanilla" Elite had, am I getting it right? And btw what's with the price gap between Steam release and Horizons on Frontier Store, as far as Russia is concerned the prices are 2999 and 3990 RUB for Steam and Frontier Store respectively.

if i buy it on steam do i also get the 10€/£ discount that where getting if i bouy it @ store?

I'm not trying to start anything but you could always buy the game directly from Frontier and then add it to your Steam games as a non steam game. This way you will still have the Steam app running in the background etc and you wont have to mess around with Steam Keys while Frontier gets the whole amount and not just a percentage of the fee you paid (Steam takes approx 40% of what you pay). Again just an idea and in no way meant to flame etc.

I couldn't get a key when in a Chrome browser. Logged in through Firefox browser and got a key first try. Coincidence?
