elite dangerous installation issues

hello i bought elite dangerous last night and the install is at about 30-40% now but its just froze and my internet speed is brilliant and normally it will go at about 9-11mb/s, but with this game its saying 0mb/s then for about half a second it will flash saying 4mb/s the it will say 0 for about 2-3mins and now its not moved for about 10 minutes ive tryed restarting my internet i dont know what to do.

what did run though my mind was maybe i have to install the single player cobat training first. if so please let me know, but also if anybody else had this problem please help me out on how to sort it cant wait to play

I've not done a fresh install since beta, but I doubt very much if you have to install the single player combat missions first.

Possibly though your connection with the server dropped and something hasn't handled it's timeout properly - if you've been waiting more than an hour with it stuck at 30% then it's pretty definitely stalled.

If it's just been stuck a few minutes, then leave it to it - the installer does start/stop and runs in fits & bursts.

You can also try shutting the launcher down and starting it up again.

Back in early Beta I had the same kind of issue and restarting the launcher fixed it. I do not know what the underlying problem was (or if it was at my end!), but it did start behaving better.

nope its not moving i dont know what else to do now

its really starting Fck to me off if this game isnt installed by the end of today im asking for my money back
