Hi

I currently launch ED through steam, well through the ED icon on my desktop which brings up the ED launcher, but it's authorised initially through Steam.

Well now Oculus Home is out and i've registered my game with it, i'm wondering if I should uninstall ED through Steam and re-install it through Oculus's Home launcher instead.

Are their any advantages to doing this, eg performance wise, does having it run through Oculus own launcher have any impact on how smooth the Oculus HMD works with ED?
Does the ED launcher with all the news and events still appear when the game is launched through Oculus Home? - I'd miss it I think.

Anyway your answers, advice and opinions are always welcome and I look forward to hearing them.

I doubt it. Never ran ED on anything but 0.5 runtime. Running it on 1.3 without having registered it with oculus home now and it's working just fine aside from the issues most seem to be experiencing (I.e. black smear).

Not sure if you want to uninstall it from Steam to ensure it runs using the OR runtime and not SteamVR as I've never used the latter.
