Community Event / Creation ELITE: Dangerous - Intergalactic Western Face-off / Shootout

Hi Frontier and fellow Commanders,

I had this idea, to make Elite a bit more community focused by thinking of the following:

ELITE: Dangerous - Intergalactic Western Face-off / Shootout:
----------------------
- Two contestants
- Two fighters
- Fixed weapons
- The two attack only eachother's fighters, the mother-ships are not used
- The best and the fastest to kill the other commander wins
- Multiple rounds can be played
- Other players can watch (real-time) and challenge the winner the same way
- Real Life CQC, but in the live setting of the live galaxy
- Benefit from learning/improving to fight with fixed weapons
- Show off your actual battle skills
- No need for expensive re-buy of big ships
- Protect the pride of your allegiance, Imperial VS Federation..
- CQC rank doesn't matter..
- Be the BEST in the Galaxy

It is like CQC but not really. The idea is to make it possible to make bets and give valuable cargo to the winners, such as great value/rare commodities.

Let's make gambling another aspect of the community world!
