What are the future plans for the Elite Dangerous iPhone app - currently it's not even up to date with the newer ships. Are there any comments from FD about this? What kind of things would you like to see in the app? Here are my thoughts:
- Include market pricing from recently visited systems
- Live GalNet feed
- Updated with Powerplay data - info about Powers, current community goals and objectives related to powers, our own standing with the powers, etc.
- Ability to buy/sell ship components and market commodities at the station where we are currently docked (if applicable)
- Online/Offline status of friends, ability to send chat messages to those on friends list
- Group management - allow players to join or request access to private groups
On a sort of related note, a while back there was talk from FD that they were looking at creating an API for the game, and they were taking suggestions from the community. What happened with that, is it now completely shelved?
