I just hit the maximum number of bookmarks which is 128. In this case, you get a big white square instead of the bookmark icon.

It got me thinking about the other maximums in the game and on to if there was a maximum number of ships you can have. I searched it and found a 2015 thread in this forum:

250 Ship Limit

There is a 250 ship limit for commanders. If you exceed this soft cap, you may encounter problems when switching ships such as the game crashing or sending you back to the main login. When you log back in you're in a sidewinder, regardless of the ship you tried to buy. That ship will be in...

Back then, there is a "soft" limit where bad things start hapening if you own more than 250 ships.

Anyone know if that is still true?

You can get an extra stack of bookmarks by creating a dummy squad though, it's not as if there's any hard limit programing wise I would suggest.

I'll just delete some bookmarks for now. Don't think I'll ever get to 250 ships, but I was curious if anyone had.

It is ridiculous, that you can have more ships (completely outfitted), than not equipped modules in the module storage.

Now you're getting greedy. What's next? Filtering bookmarks on your galaxy map so that only one catagory of bookmarks is shown? Outrageous!
