However from my description of elite dangerous's trading, she was like "Wait this game teaches you about insurance? This game teaches you about how to buy and trade? This game teaches you how to maximize profit? Holy ****"

Yeah because shes not interested in the other aspects like combat and exploration. Shes like 65 years old. She was more interested in the money aspect of the game.

My mom hates violence and all that.

She brought me Duke Nukem 3D for Christmas once. Lol

She had no idea.

I even left the Duke Nukem Gib Windows 95 screensaver on, to gross her out. It was hilarious.

For all her talk of how violence in games and movies make people violent, I'm actually probably the least angry and violent person ever. Lol

Just goes to show, all that 'research' in to video game violence is bull.
