Elite: Dangerous not Dangerous and Assassinations

Okay, so I've become an assassin, and the money and killing is ridiculous. i fly a 1.5 million credit Cobra, and i kill ELITE ANACONDAS with very little trouble. I under stand that it needs to be easier for starters, but it's just ridiculous now. Let me suggest a few things.

-Make higher ranking NPCs MUCH harder to kill - Cobras being unable to kill Competent and up Anacondas and etc)
-Make better/bigger ships much harder to kill with small equipment
-Make a wider range of Assassination missions (I would like 1 million for an Elite Anaconda, but I would like to have a challenge if I was flying an Anaconda myself! Maybe 500k for those Elite Federal Dropships, and 200k for those Elite Fighter-class ships (Cobras, Vipers) and begin to scale down the assassination pay for lesser-skilled ships (Ex 120k for Deadly Cobra, 50k for Dangerous).

All in all, I find the game way too easy. The Capital Ship is free cash at this point! please fix this FD, make this game Nintendo Hard if you have to.

I would like to see the assassination targets flying around in super cruise, so you can interdict them, better than just farming uss. Also, more variety in the missions. Maybe a target is last seen at a nav beacon, or the mission is to kill 2 ships at the same uss, and mission credit scaling for other ships, not just condas and the occasional drop ship.

I'm really sorry, but I completely agree with you. I haven't downed an Anaconda yet, but I can take down tooled up expert dropships with only minor scuffing in my lightly upgraded Cobra. I'm not turning the bounties down, mind you, but it still seems a bit too trivial.
 
Yes the combat is laughably easy now. Almost to the point where even mining gives you more adrenaline pumping.
 
I'd move the anaconda assassination missions down to a 100k reward and make the new 160-200k elite pythons. The anaconda is a heavily armed hauler not a combat ship.

I think the hull also needs to be increased because it feels like as soon as the shields on anacondas are down they just melt.

Some consistency across the difficulty elite would also be nice. Maybe multiple elite ranks like elite 1, elite 2 etc. This would also allow for some stronger npc's for those that feel it's way too easy.

Some shield cell balancing is also needed. The ability to use multiple and the tiny/lack of cooldown is silly.

personally, i take an eagle in 10 seconds and a dropship might take a whole minute and that's 4 pulselazorz

I can take down an E-Conda in about a minute, Eagle in 5 seconds from full shields, if i get continuous fire in on him.
Those Federal Dropships are a JOKE.
Now, I use a Keyboard/Mouse and it might be unfair to those Joystick users, but if it can be made to effect us equally, I'd like to see a harder game. I'd like to die in the face of an Elite Anaconda.

Don't make it 'Nintendo' hard, but by all accounts, the AI needs a good brain transplant and quick. And there should be some occasions where it's sensible just to run away, much like in real life. I don't want to be able to kill everything without effort. 'The capital ship is free cash' is a statement I find worrying regarding the AI.
