Elite dangerous odyssey crashes after clicking open play mode

Hi there,
I have been playing Horizons first, and now Odyssey.

For about 2 months been playing odyssey, without any problem.

But since 2 days ago, when I click on open play mode, the game after a few seconds, closes itself, and shows me a report crash message to be sent to frontier.

And if I try to play Horizons, it just stays in the loading screen forever, so no way.

Any idea on what to do?

You could try using the option in the launcher window to "Log out machine" and then log in again. That has been found to help in various different issues. Otherwise maybe ask in the "PC" sub-forum (or ask for this thread to be moved there).

Have you submitted a support request? (not the stupid "issue tracker" which is pants):

I have always found frontier's support to be exceptionally helpful (as have many others).

To be honest, nowt has changed game-wise recently so maybe some driver update or similar in your machine might be the culprit?

I suspect what you need is the nudge if hor wont load either
I have had two since the game began 2013
it happens when the servers throws a wobbler and your cloud save gets corrupted b4 it gets there
my advice label your ticket unable to play please move me .........… in the link para put up
and is the only way to get it sorted as far as I know

this isnt a frontier problem its your computer, e.g. if you router or firewall doesnt support upnp when in open the servers will kick you after x mins
i have used port forwarding when router cannot handle upnp.
in the main most people are able to use upnp find.

what is in your log files, are there any errors
the location will change based on if it installed via steam or not and where you installed it
mine are here

E:\Steam Downloads\steamapps\common\Elite Dangerous\Products\elite-dangerous-odyssey-64\Logs

each time you play the game you will get another file created

will like to know how you resolve it but yea if the usual things wont work like
resetting router
file validating in steam an launcher and loggin & so forth
I strongly suggest a ticket …………………...
upnp has always been enabled for me personally and I have only ever needed the " nudge" when all game modes fail solo open group ed hor and odd ie when all wont work...………...
