Returning to the game after being away for years, never really gave the Odyssey content a proper try and it has been a blast so far.

I am at the point where I am trying to start upgrading gear with the new Odyssey engineers but for the life of me I can not find the "pin" function for weapon and suit upgrades. Am I blind? or missing something very obvious?

You mean loadouts? In ship press number 3 or on a consol after you have got off your ship! ( Number 3 is what I press on my ship

Sorry if I wasn't clear, I mean the ability to pin certain engineer upgrade recipes. So you can remotely upgrade gear without having to fly all the way to an engineer to do a single upgrade.

That's because its not possible, just like removing or changing mods on suits or weapons.

Not sure you can do that. Never noticed the option.

Thing is about suits and weapons, you get them done and you'll rarely do them again, if ever. Suit upgrades (levels) you can do at any bartender, including FC ones... IIRC.

Sorry, not being too helpful and giving some misinformation, its been years since i did any of this.

Have been considering doing some new suits for my different combat loadouts though, since i've got 5 weapon loadouts but only 2 suits, so 5 different suits for the loadouts might be fun, just for more style options in combat. Got to look cool.

Well that is unfortunate, odd design choice given that you can do it with ship engineers.

Well back to the grind I guess until I can justify making a trip back to an engineer.

Yeah it’s unfortunate, but there aren’t many people who’ll be engineering more than 3 suits. And TBF, a single Mav will do the job for everything other than Exo.

And you don't need an engy'd suit for exo. The 3 secs it'll take you to step out of your vehicle, scan and get back in can be done with a basic suit. :LOL:
