How can you doubt the validity of an objective analysis performed by the SAME profiler program that FDev uses? The conclusions you choose to draw from the results are one thing, but the statistics that the profiler gives are not up for debate.

I doubt the veracity of the analysis done by the people interpreting the output of that program. As to how I can doubt it, that's easy: it's the default state.

FPS low in station after Update 1

On my machine pressing F10 x 10 times drops FPS from 90 to 8-9 in space. On station / ground its like 1-2 then. Permanent. Until game restarted. So maybe that players just took too many screens?

Instead of releasing a good game with a few bugs, they've released an Alpha. Now they need the time to fix it, instead of working for new content or finxing older bugs.
