I remember reading an official manual long time ago. Has it been ditched or is it still out there?

The Manual's bound to be woefully outdated though.

I believe the manual is still only current for the 2.4 update.

I get the feeling that the Pilot's Handbook (in Codex) is intended to provide supplementaty information to the manual, I may be wrong, of course.

Yes - it has not been updated since then - FDEV have left that and their training videos to rot.

As the manual gave no space to pursuing a life of crime, I found it sadly lacking... (I skim read it, none of the power stuff etc. was of the least interest)
