Elite Dangerous Open Teamspeak!

Hello and my name is Kevin.
I want to give everyone in this community a little gift.
I Decided today that i wanted to create an totally open Elite Dangerous teamspeak server.
Reason for this was that me and my friends were having a hard time to communicate in game as his microphone isnt that good and he cant turn it up that much.
so we have been borrowing teamspeak servers from other comunities to be able to speak.
Then i were thinking. maby we are not the only ones?

So i decided to make a teamspeak server, not just for me and my friends. But for everyone here at E.D community.
The server is now featured with 10 open rooms with no specifications wich means that if you dont know what to do. then theese rooms will be just the rooms for you.

CUrrently there is now also 5 rooms for each of the categories: pirates, bounty hunters, miners, traders, explorers.
I will drastically increase this number really soon!

Future plans are also including a little support desk so you can get live help by willing community members that wants to support elite and make this community grow!

This server has currently only 50 slots. but this will be increased aswell in the really soon future. depending on how much it is being used.


The standard E.D forum rules also applies to the teamspeak channel, such as racism, voilence, harasment or anything that can/may harm an other person will get removed from the server instantly.

So now you can all go and chat together in your wingteam, and maby even meet up with new peoples? :)

if you ever feel like using the teamspeak and dont feel like hosting one yourself :)

and remember, this is a totally open server. everyone can come and go as they want.

edit: the teamspeak server does now have an hub. the hub is a room where random peoples can join and meet other random peoples
if youre bored and dont knoww hat to do. join the hub! maby you meet someone to play with!

im happpy to see that the teamspeak is already being more and more populated in the evenings
this means i will start upgrading the server sooner :)

i will post up updates here frequently.

plans for upgrades:
-add in private rooms for those who wishes it (password protected rooms for those who dont want to be interupted by others)
-add in music room for those who want to chill out and listen to music while gaming
-add in custom symbols and additional ranks and groups

upcoming in future:
-slot increasement from 50 to 100 (applied when needed)
--add in a small helpdesk where willing peoples can help other playrs who is troubling with something about the game.
-room increasement from 5 to 20 public rooms per category

@£ swift arrow: this teamspeak just got opened so its not that much peoples online yet. + most peoples are online after work and such (evening norwegian and dutch time)

@premier: this is both for peopels who just want to talk and for peoples who actually are going to play with eachother.
as the in game voice somethimes you will get "rly bad signal" wich makes you almost unable to listen to what peopels are saying. and when the guy you speak with have a bad mic in addition... well then teamspeak is a lot better.
the good thing with teasmspeakis that it allow you to modify the mic that belongs to the guy you are "listening" to as you want yourself. so it will be a lot easier to hear peoples in your wingteam. as well as teamspeak got better sound.
im totally aware that the mic in game is made so its gonna sound like a realistic radio. but the "signal" seem to be dropping all the time so sometimes its really hard to catch what peoples say.


this teamspeak is basiocally for anyone who are playing this game, and look for a teamspeak to chat with peoples either just for fun, or because they are playing together.

as for now there is the "open rooms" wich is intended for the peoples that wanna play but dont know what toi do (they are not a specifique bounty hunter miner or so)

the hub is for the peoples that just wants to chat for the sake of chatting/meeting with other peoples

the rooms like bounty hunters are for bountyhunters, pirate room is for those who concider themselves as a pirate. and so on
