Elite Dangerous Papercraft?

Think it would be cool if papercraft models of E D ships could be included in boxed editions of the game; e.g.

Maybe each box could contain say a random 2 and if folks wanted the entire collection then maybe they could be purchased from Frontier store to generate revenue or even bought with ingame currency? Could be fun.

I don't know about that, but what I would like to see is someone taking the 3d models they are using for designing the ingame graphics and converting them to 3d printing models so for those of us with access to 3d printers (I have an associate who owns one), we can have an entire fleet of Elite Dangerous ships.

Not quite the same as papercraft, but possibly more appealing.

Possibly even limited edition ones that can be purchased directly from Frontier ...

Certainly it would cost additional money to do, this. I would rather, find models of brand Heller, Revell ... in commerce or in the future online store of Frontier. Assemble models, paint them, would be great

I think the beauty of papercraft is that they can be produced for little cost. Maybe designs can be downloaded to bring costs down even more.

I like the idea of assemble models too btw - the more options the better :)

It would be pretty cool. I like the model extras that you can add to your pledge, but they're way too expensive for me. Papercraft or other low-cost methods of doing modeling would be pretty neat.

I have already purchased the model of the Cobra Mark Three.

I don't think it's made from paper.

At least I hope not.......after paying over $800 AUD for it.
