Elite Dangerous Pen&Paper RPG and ED: Odissey

Hi, I know that probably little is going to be revealed about what is going on with Odissey and spacelegs, planet exploring and so on, but...

I have the RPG books of Elite Dangerous from Spidermind games, proud backer, could I expect that some of the info displayed on books related to fauna, equipment, etc... is going to be on the Odissey content? As far as I know this is official content, isn't ?

Why wouldn't you just play the original Traveller?

Why does the licensing of ED bother me? I don't know. I'll think about it when I walk Co Co. I'm probably just being jerky...

Who says I do not play Traveller? Great game!

Anyways, that is not the point, the fact is that I played some ED rpg mixed with roleplaying in the ED game as well and just wanna know if all the stuff we are experiencing in the RPG game is going to be live on Odissey, like if some character likes his XXX autopistol or YYY amour and is going to be available for his ED character with odissey and say "that's definitely my character's outfit ! "

Is very close, the RPG is made with license of Frontier as far as I know and its official content, but as game has evolved somethings had been deprecated.

For example, the RPG in the section of creating ships have listed the old scanners (basic, med, long range) and not the new FSS with probes and all that stuff

I think that's your answer. If it was my campaign I would write in these elements myself to keep up with the video game.

Reminds me of the campaign I played with my party to prevent the events that transitioned to fourth (?) edition DnD ☺
We hated that approximately as much as some hate the FSS
