Elite Dangerous: Premonition - "The story crafted by you..."

You may well know where the events of the book end up, but the stuff that happens in between is far more surprising and interesting. All those strange things we heard about in Galnet surrounding Salome? The assassination attempt, her being killed, her mysterious resurrection a few months later, the big final event that left people not knowing what the hell was going on or why they were doing it, the CMDRs who reported seeing Salome and Raan flying around randomly in systems in-game in their private group only to lose sight of them with no response, and the sudden appearance of two characters at the big final event that no one had ever heard of previously - Tsu Singh (on PC) and Yuri Nakamura (on Xbox)? Raan being killed and then returning for the big final event, MetaDrive, the theft of the meta alloys, the random disappearance of an asteroid, and the CG where the Tantalum-producing system of Prism curiously asked for CMDRs to deliver Tantalum?

All of that is explained. All these disjointed happenings that we witnessed without context over the course of a year, are given context in the book; all the threads are woven together. It's very satisfying, very revealing, and those of us who have already read it have a good idea of what is happening in relation to events that are still to occur and the reasons behind them.

This book's treasure is not in the ending, but in the provision of context throughout.
