Don't know if this is secret or not , but when trying to find a good method to handle with high G world , I found that staying flat and letting the ship drop with FA OFF is far more accurate and reliable than using FA ON as giving a "down-push" on the thrusters may make the opposite ones very useless to negate the negative vertical speed in time.

Well I don't know if I am clear but to sum-up : High G world = Glide , then Throttle = 0 , then stay flat and steady , then FA-OFF , then manage the negative V/S with push-up vertical thrusters.

In other worlds : High G worlds = Never use FA-On vertical thrusters

I Only go back to FA-ON if I have to cruise at steady level over the surface, NEVER to get down .

hope it helps

Cool!

That actually make's a whole lot of sense, I personaly boost towards the planet and then at the last few seconds before impact I boost horizontaly to change the angle of momentum and equal out, but your method sounds really cool and scientific , I may feature it on my channel and if I will, I'll give you full credit for it, thanks for sharing!

If you've got a load of contraband heading for a planetary installation:

1. Land your ship away from the installation.
2. Deploy an SRV and dismiss your ship.
3. Drive your SRV onto the installation and request boarding.
4. Drive your SRV into a garage and await your ship's arrival.
5. Sell your contraband.
6. ????
7. Profit

When in combat, Get up from your seat, star Jump, turn around and touch the ground, do 5 consecutive (cant stress this enough.... 5!, no more no less) jogging steps on the spot and then scream 'I am the egg man, They are the egg men, I am the walrus, Goo goo g'joob' and you will win the battle against what ever foe you fight.... even in PVP.

It's amazing how many of these little tips people don't know... Right up until you hear one that you didn't know! Like how many I've told who didn't know driving the SRV with Drive Assist off is the best way to drive... Most are shocked at the difference in the driving with it switched off.

Nice idea, I will keep an eye for more tips to see what I don't know.

Yes, I am pretty sure there are hundreds of these, and it will be interesting to see over time if we can pretty much "catch them all" :)

I'll give you a tip from a noobie (me) for landing a ship ..... watch the RED BALL as it nestles into the BLUE NEST and not the ship to land well each time. And always face the numbers/the towers to land in the correct direction. I pointed (on an external landing) my ship towards the arrow on the end of the pad thinking "land pointing this direction" which was, of course, wrong.
