Elite dangerous running really Sluggishly and Crashing

I tried to play Elite Dangerous Horizons tonight for the first time in about a year....on the same computer...only thing that's really changed is the Windows 10 updates and the Radeon Updates...But it was running really sluggishly, which it never did before. I have an AMD Rx 560 GPU with 4gb of VRAM, 32GB of RAM, Running on an AMD FX 8320. I tried turning the graphics down to MID from High but it was still craptacular, and it wanted me to play it on a lower resolution after it crashed completely, which was even more craptacular. If anyone has any ideas I'd be grateful.

I actually had something similar happen to me last night. I have an RTX card rather than a Radeon and I had to have the Nvidia app refresh my settings since when it updated it kind of borked everything up.

Cool. I downloaded a Benchmark tool and ran some tests and found that the GPU and CPU were both testing way too low. So I tweaked them both as much as I could short of overclocking anything. I got windows 10 to use all the cores on my CPU, and then finally I turned off all the enhanced features in the Radeon Software Settings to get the stripped down values. The game is now running beautifully. Duh I guess.
