General / Off-Topic Elite Dangerous Ships look to being copied by Star Citizen

So I have Star Citizen along with Elite Dangerous. I find that Elite Dangerous is much better than Star Citizen will ever be (especially since I have paid and waited for over 10 Years to play the full release of Star Citizen)

Seems that they are taking shortcuts now and copying Elite ships

To me this is an outrage and this is not the only ship. Roberts Space Industries needs to pay attention and show some respect to reputable games and stop trying to piggy back off them and sell them as his ideas.

Yeah, we noticed that one a while ago. tbh, there's only so many ways you can draw things that fly through space, similarities are going to happen. Hey, at least ED's doesn't cost 80U$.

Create a computer game with spaceships. Chances are, sooner or later, you'll create a ship that looks like one from another IP just through happenstance.

... and SC Vulture is a copy of the EvE Online Venture (which folk on here got equally animated about at the time), yet the fact the ED Type 8 is an inverted Venture seems to not be of concern.

You do have to wonder how the design meeting for the ship went.
