Good evening,

My first post here, so apologies that it's something of a "spam"... but I have been active on the E:D Kickstarter! :)

I'm running a Kickstarter to try to raise funds towards (not the full amount) a Writer's Pledge pack. It's been running for a few days now, but I haven't been advertising it too much whilst I was working on the promotion video.

The video is now ready... it's half tribute to Elite, and half introduction to the gamebook...

Could someone please move to to the new E:D subforum? I don't seem to have the option as a general user. Thanks!

Just gone past 20% on my Kickstarter, and I now have 5 videos (4 video diaries, one promotional video) describing what I hope to do with the gamebook.

Thanks Steve,

I've put up a number of video diaries on my Kickstarter, outlining my plans for the project, covering:

1) What is a gamebook, and how Survivor will (briefly) work
2) The importance of maintaining the freedom and openness that is Elite
3) How combat might work
4) The elements of the Elite universe that I wish to translate to the page.

There are also two promotional videos on there. One makes use of the FD concept art. The other is more a spoof of the genre.

I'm asking for £3000 funding towards the £4,500 goal. About a third of the way so far, so still a way to go.

@Nathen : dont know if you read my other post but heres a demo of what i was going to do on Elite Forever for the writers...Basicly i making a page for each book so if your interested i could do with a photo or not if you prefer

Looks really good to me, of course i'm not one of the authors, but will be a regular visit.

I guess you now have alot to do since your kickstarter finished with contacting people and what not. when are we likley to hear from you regarding the kickstarter pledges.

I havnt heard a thing since his kickstarter finished, I have had no kickstarter surveys or anything. the last i saw of him was when he made a comment post on the 3rd of January. Im getting a little worried.:S

Same. I tried to contact him via KS as well.

I'm still here, just been having problems with real life things- project update will be going out tomorrow :)

The "surveys" are a little annoying, as you can only send one out. So for the e-books and physical rewards, there doesn't seem to be much point in sending out a survey now, as I'd need to do it again closer to the time when the items are ready for delivery... or am I missing something?

Welcome back friend.
we was starting to get worried. if i was you i would have a word with the support manager about the surveys as he maybe able to offer you some suggestions, im under the impression that kickstarter has its own survey thing as i never got a survey for elite dangerous, they just updated their main kS page and created their own web app for everthing.

by the way Liam Rafferty, around here i go by the name Mobius.

That looks awesome. :)

I am continually amazed at how people can do this... I wouldn't know where to begin in making something that looked so real.

well as you know im a backer of your gamebook, if you would like some photoshop work done im sure i can offer my services.

maybe a header for your Sticky Thread.

I am very excited about Nathanael's project. Is there any way I can up my pledge at all ? I couldn't pledge higher at the time I'm afraid.
