I just had a visual, someone please make this happen. Imagine one of those clear vinyl stickons for the windows, of a Cobra. Half the ship is the original wireframe from Elite (or maybe the filled in one for you younger pilots) and the other part of the ship as currently in the game. Like a transition piece from old to new.
